After you've been tattooed, your tattooist will cover your tattoo in vaseline and cover that with a layer of cling-film.

Leave this on for around 2-3 hours, then uncover, wash the tattoo (ideally shower it on a very light, luke warm setting), pat dry (do NOT rub, it'll just hurt!) and rub a small amount of Black Cat or similar into it.

We recommend Black Cat Tattoo Aftercare products, they're 100% natural and work extremely well. If the tattoo is still bleeding, re-cover with cling film.

The next day you should be able to have no cling film, and simply repeat the washing and Black Cat 4 times a day

Remember, fresh tattoos are an open wound, and should be treated as such, keep away from dirt and grime, and do not swim for at least 3 weeks after being tattooed. Also do not bathe the tattoo in the bath for a few days, ideally as long as possible.
